Paying Attention to What Is

There have been many not so coincidental moments recently. They are poking at me and nudging me to move, to take action.

First it was Tony Robbins - the giant who convinced me almost two decades ago to walk on fire. It was an unforgettable event and for as long as I can remember, I always find myself seeking out his work periodically. He is one of my favourite role models. I want to be like him when I am in my 60s, impacting millions of lives through the work that I do. For me, that is teaching the method - Ashtanga Yoga.

It is the one thing that I haven't gave up on no matter what came my way. Recently I completed 99% of the third series and it was one of the most unthinkable moment for me. I have never imagined myself practising the way I am practising now. I was simply focusing on showing up and doing what was given to me [AHA moment!] It is incredible how far I have come [I am eternally grateful to James for lighting the path for me] and I am looking forward to how much more I can work through with my body, mind and breath.

I feel like the puzzle pieces are around me and I simply have to put them together. 2022 manifesto - JUST DO IT [Nike got it right]. I am going to start putting the pieces together and figure it along the way. Nothing happens in a linear. Sometimes it can feel like we are going around in circles and sometimes we simply have to pay attention to what [already] is.

Not overthinking, just acting on what feels "right" [self reminder again that why I started this blog].
